The children were very excited about
receiving books and thrilled that they could read them! These are very
well put together. The repetition and large print make it great for
kindergarten. Many of our kids are reading and excited.
-
The KEEP BOOKS program is excellent.
The books have excellent ways to introduce beginning readers to concepts
of print. They enjoy having books that they can read and keep as their
own. Many parents have commented favorably on the joy their child feels by
being able to read their own book. This enables them to know and feel they
can read.
-
I love this! For years I’ve been
making my own books and it takes a lot of time and effort. You’ve found a
way to give us good books that children love!
-
KEEP BOOKS I feel were designed
not only for a group of children but for all children and that’s what
really counts. They give every child a chance to be a good reader.
-
I feel that KEEP BOOKS really helped
my students become confident readers and writers. Even the struggling boys
and girls could feel successful with these books.
-
Anytime you can get reading material
home and into the hands of the youngsters, it is so beneficial to
supplement your in-class reading. The selections are great because they
are appropriate text for the emergent reader, use repetition, and provide
pictures.
-
KEEP BOOKS are a great way for
children to acquire their own familiar reading library. This is especially
helpful for students with limited access to books.
-
I liked the way I could use KEEP BOOKS
to build sight vocabulary and review things we had learned while
introducing new ideas. I felt the program was very successful.
-
KEEP BOOKS added real motivation to
some of my disinterested students and ignited a new enthusiasm for reading
and talking about books and stories.
-
My students love reading the books and
being able to take them home to keep. It really got them interested in
reading, especially those who were having great difficulty.
-
My child enjoyed having the books at home very
much. She always reads at night before bed and having the books meant
she had some nice stories that weren't too difficult or too long to
quiet her down for the night. She read them to her teddy bear and her
baby dolls.
-
These books were a great help in allowing my child
to practice and keep fresh her reading skills throughout the summer.
-
We love KEEP BOOKS. Whitney is so excited about
reading. These books are a great morale booster for her. They give her
confidence in her reading abilities and therefore encourage her to read
more and more. I hope KEEP BOOKS are a permanent part of Seaman
Elementary.
-
Since I work second shift, my husband has the
opportunity to read KEEP BOOKS with Aaron. It brought them closer
together, and I appreciate that. Thank you and please keep sending the
books home. This is a great idea!
-
My son was always so excited about reading his
books to us and would talk and talk about the new book at school that he
would be bringing home soon. He continues to get his books out regularly
to read. KEEP BOOKS is a great program!
-
These are nice simple reading books with topics
children enjoy. Many families can't afford the price of books or don't
have the time to take their children to a library. Even though my son
has read them all, he still picks them up time and time again to reread
them.
-
I think KEEP BOOKS are great. Nick reads them to
his little brother. Not only can they read them, they get to color them
as well, so they can call them their own. They are great!
-
Lisa enjoyed coloring and reading the KEEP BOOKS to
us. They were easy and short for her, and had a lot of the same words
she could recognize. She used the pictures to remind her of the words
sometimes.
-
I have really enjoyed these little books and the
excitement in my little girl's eyes as she has learned to read them.
It's a wonderful program. I hope it continues for the future readers to
come.
